**Membership Classifications**
Active Membership	DUES
Open to all professional educators holding current certification from the PA Department of Education.	$288.00 (12 payments of $24)
Special Active Membership (Substitute & Part-time Teachers)	DUES
Open to substitute teachers and educators whose current base pay is under $35,000/yr.	$192.00 (12 payments of $16)
Agency Shop Membership	DUES
Open to teachers who want to join KEYTA, but are obligated in their local districts through maintenance of membership contracts or "agency shop."	$144.00 (12 payments of $12)
Support Staff Membership	DUES
Open to custodians, teacher aides, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, etc.	$144.00 (12 payments of $12)
Student Membership	DUES
Open to students involved in student teaching programs and also includes the Liability Insurance Program. Students, however, do not have voting status	$20.00 or free*
Retired Membership	DUES
Open to retired educators. Retired educators do not have voting status.	$20.00

* Students who obtain a teaching job after their KEYTA student membership year(s) may apply all student membership dues to their first year Active or Special Active KEYTA dues.

NOTE: You may join Keyta at any time and your coverage will begin when your completed application and first payment are received in our office.
