The Keystone Teachers Association (KEYTA) was established to promote the professional status and growth of educators and the welfare of students.  Organized in 1993 by a handful of teachers whose personal beliefs conflicted with that of the teacher unions, KEYTA was formed to give teachers a professional alternative to union membership.

KEYTA provides members with access to professional liability insurance, legal assistance, state lobbyists that represent KEYTA in educational issues, state meetings, and much more…all for hundreds of dollars less than union dues.
