KEYTA Teachers are catching the vision to reach beyond their classrooms and to partner with teachers and orphans in the country of Malawi in South Central Africa. Imagine what a few of our dollars can do to help educate some of the many orphans and empower teachers in this small country! KEYTA teachers have been generously contributing to the cost of a school and the cost of salary for teachers. How exciting to have classrooms across the world benefitting from our blessings here in this country.
Our goal is to raise $16,500.00, and this will provide the materials and labor for the school. Another exciting part of this vision is supporting a teacher’s annual salary. This would be like taking a small portion of your salary and doubling your influence for the growth and education of children who would otherwise not get any education or hope of employment later in life. In this part of the world an average teacher’s salary including some supplies is about $75/month ($900.00/year).
